Girls are easy to buy for, don't you agree? But boys, how hard is it to find clothes, gifts, anything for them? It may be cause I have girls I find it easier, but my friends with boys are always commenting on how hard it is to find cool stuff for them. Fairy Door Magic
The fabulous Carol from Pixel by Pixel has been busy creating some magical images of our fairy doors. I am so over the top exciting and chuffed at just how well she captured these I just had to share them with the world.

New Prints from Fall Down Tree
My apologies for being a bit slack in the blogging department as of late. We've had a bit of a busy run with Nannie and Grandad visiting, everyone having colds and a crazy number of birthday parties to attend! I actually forgot completely that it was Hump Day as we were so busy today with swim classes and jetting about town getting jobs done, we didn't even get a hump day to worry about this week. So.... hand over heart.... I promise to try harder next time!
During all this busy-ness, I did manage to get some fab new products loaded up into the store which have been sitting next to my desk begging to be given my attention.
Firstly, some delicious new prints from very talented Adam Record of Fall Down Tree. It is really, really hard to find great stuff for boys out there. I find it especially hard being a Mum of two little girls, so I'm never exactly sure that what I think is pretty great, is what boys will think is pretty great too! Luckily Adam's prints seem to do the trick.
There are 10 prints in stock and here are a few of my personal fav's....
The 3 prints in the To the Moon series... There's a bit of a space obsession happening at home thanks to the recent space shuttle launch and discovery of the awesome NASA website. More on that later....
and this one called Bird Band. It makes me think of that Paul Kelly song, Band on Every Corner (probably not very kid-propriate, but its what springs to mind).

Wooo Hooo, New Stuff!
Well, thank goodness last week is over! 4 days without phone lines or internet, several visits to internet cafe's with not very cooperative toddlers, and now reduced to dial-up internet again until our 21 (thats right 21) day waiting period to have ADSL reconnected clicks by. Patience has never been a virtue of mine, and its really been put to the test now!
But, on a much happier note, there is lots of lovely new stock in this week.
Beautiful jewellery from Margrietje in the UK. Everything is made from polymer clay and is handcrafted, illustrated and set into pendents and brooches.
Some great new wooden toys have arrived. How cool is this Towering Castle play set? It even comes with 2 knight figurine accessory packs!
Wonderful handmade Waldorf dolls from the very talented fingers of Little Jenny Wren in Tasmania. Honestly, I can't stress enough how wonderful the detailing is in these dolls. They are truly a work of art, and as Jenny says, "an heirloom of tomorrow to be loved today". I just love that!
Lots of new books and craft kits are now in store, as are these great prints from Adam Record at Fall Down Tree.
And finally, Sock Monkeys au Natural are here! We also have some mini monkeys in the works and fancy dress monkeys coming too. Remember if you would like a monkey specifically customised, either in fancy dress or to look like someone, just drop me a line, I'll see what I can do!
