Win a framed FallDownTree Print...

As promised as part of our birthday celebrations I have a few goodies to give away :)

I've just posted on Facebook a fun little question prompted by my daughers revelation this week that when she grows up she wants to be Wolverine! I have other thoughts about Wolverine, but considering she only knows the cartoon version, I'm guessing she wants one of those hot yellow suits!

I used to want to be Mikhail Baryshnikov. I thought that the boy ballet dancer were better than the girls cause they could jump higher and didn't have to wear tutu's! My husband had recurring Superman/Greatest American Hero/ET fantasies (probably still does).

So my question to all our facebook BFF's is .... What did you want to be when you grew up? Or are you still holding onto your fantasies Peter Pan style in the hope that you can still reach your dream?

This fab framed FallDownTree print is yours to the fan with the comment that makes us all wish to be young again! You can leave a comment here if you like if your not on Facebook

  1. What an awesome prize!! When I was a wee little girl I wanted to be hair dresser when I grew up. I had a marvelous time playing with my dolls hair and anyone that would let me do a design or two! I ended up growing up to be a trauma nurse but now I make girls accessories, so I guess in a way I am living the dream. kinda ;)

  3. when i was little (about 5 or 6 years old) i had an awesome plastic crash helmet with speed strips on the sides. i used to like to think i could be a superhero type firefighter, rescuing little kittens in trees (hence the helmet, in case i fell out of said tree). anyway, one day i was "rescuing" a kitty (imaginary) and actually fell out of the "tree" which was quite a small one but when you're little it's a giant red cedar. luckily for me, i had my crash helmet on which protected me from any head injuries (it did!) BUT, unfortunately, there was a lovely little cactus garden right under said tree which i fell into bum first... needless to say, my mum had a time with me over her lap removing cactus prickles/needles with tweezers! HA! :)

  4. Awesome giveaway - my daughter is sooo into trains and animals right now! I wanted to be an architect and interior designer when I was little - loved going for walks with my parents and looking into windows that were lit up at night (maybe I just wanted to be a peeper?!) nooo...I would create 'apartments' for my Barbies from those plastic stacking outdoor tables - know the ones? - and come up with some pretty cool concoctions...created some Barbie furniture out of some really cool household items too...handtowels were rugs, compact mirrors were wall mirrors, etc...never became either of those but now I'm a graphic designer and professional organizer, so I didn't stray far from 'the dream'!

Thanks for the opp to win!

  5. I can remember saying 'When I grow up I want to be a lady taxi driver'! Odd kid! And odd given that at 35 I still don't drive!
Until recently, my three year old son would answer when asked 'When I grow up I want to be a grown up' but now it's train driver.
